In physical terms, a mastopexy is safe to consider if:

• Your nipples and areolas point downward
• One breast is lower than the other

What Will Be Covered During the Initial Consultation?
At the initial consultation you will be asked about your desired breast shape, size, and positioning. This will help Dr. Lambeth to understand your expectations and he will then discuss with you what is possible. The size and shape of your breasts, the quality of your skin and the placement of your nipples will be carefully evaluated. If you are a good candidate for breast lift surgery, Dr. Lambeth will discuss the individual factors and personal preferences which will determine the specific technique recommended to lift your breasts.
Dr. Lambeth will perform a breast examination to ensure that you do not have any breast lumps, which need to be investigated prior to surgery. Chest measurements will be taken and a note made of the amount of breast tissue, skin tone and bone structure.
